1. Use the given words / phrases below to make a conversation between two friends. Make necessary changes and add some words.

Mi: What does your sister look like?

Maya: She is tall, thin, with long black hair.

Mi: What is she like?

Maya: She is friendly and hard-working. What about your brother?

Mi: He is caring and patient. He loves me a lot.

Now make a similar conversation with your friend.

2. Look at the picture. Describe what the students are doing.

Answer: Phong, Mi, and Lan are chatting. Nick is running. Nam is writing on the board. Bình is painting. Chau is reading.

3. Describe one of your friends or family members. Say why he/she is special to you.

My best friend is Mai Anh. She is a wonderful friend and always cares for me. She has a beautiful appearance with big brown eyes and an oval face. Additionally, she is one of the most intelligent students in my class and is very creative. She always makes me laugh with her jokes and entertaining stories. She is kind-hearted and always willing to help me when needed. Our friendship means a lot to me and I hope it lasts forever.
