As I walked into the party, I was surprised to find that there was no one there. The room was eerily quiet, with only the faint sound of music playing in the background. I wandered around, trying to make sense of the situation, when suddenly the lights went out and I heard a loud bang. Panic set in as I realized that I was not alone in the dark. It turned out that the party was actually a surprise birthday celebration for me, and my friends and family were all hiding, waiting to jump out and yell "Surprise!" It was a night to remember, filled with laughter and joy, and I was grateful for the unexpected turn of events.

Feeling a mixture of curiosity and apprehension, I finally decided to call my friends who were supposed to be at the party. As I dialed their numbers, I couldn't shake off the feeling that something strange was going on.

But no matter where I looked, I couldn't find a single person. It was like the party had been abandoned right before it was about to begin.

As I made my way through the rooms, I noticed that everything was perfectly set up for a party - snacks on the table, drinks in the cooler, and even a dance floor in the living room.

Feeling a bit awkward standing alone in the empty room, I decided to explore the rest of the house. Maybe everyone was in another part of the house, I thought.
