Để chuyển câu từ dạng chủ động sang dạng bị động, chúng ta cần thực hiện các bước sau:

1. Đổi vị trí của chủ từ (they, builders, Ba, someone, room, flowers, people, someone, we, Bill, doctors, people, nobody, they) thành 'be' + V3.
2. Chuyển chủ từ sang bị động (those posters, a new bridge, a report, coffee, the room, the flowers, him, our conversation, her, the computer, many people, the match, his watch, these cakes, a new church).

Ví dụ:

1. They have just painted those posters.
- Those posters have just been painted.

2. The builders were building a new bridge.
- A new bridge was being built by the builders.

3. Ba is preparing a report now.
- A report is being prepared by Ba now.

- Coffee was being made when I came.

5. No one has changed the room.
- The room has not been changed.
